Enrollment and licenses

What is the cost of this online course?

A one-year license for HeartWorks eLearn costs just $379.

How many CME credits will I receive upon completion of the course?

Learners will receive 11 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ upon passing the end-of-course assessment.

How long do licenses last for?

HeartWorks eLearn licenses last for 12 calendar months from the date of enrollment. Institutional license holders can manage licenses from within the system, allowing different start dates if needed. Once activated, each individual license lasts for 12 months.

How do we buy a number of licenses for multiple students?

You can send us an electronic inquiry from the Enroll page. A team member will then contact you to discuss your requirements.

Can two or more people use one license?

No. The license agreement does not allow students to share log in information and doing so breaches the terms and conditions. You can purchase multiple licenses by sending an electronic inquiry from the Enroll page. Only one CME certificate will be awarded per license.

As an institutional license holder, can I give different students different course start dates?

Yes. Institutional license holders can give different licenses different start dates. Each individual's license is valid for twelve months from its activation date. Administrators manage licenses through the My Account section.

As a multi-license administrator, how do I renew a student's license once it has expired?

Institutions buy HeartWorks eLearn licenses as credits. One credit can be used to create a new license or renew an expired license. When a student's license expires, a link will appear alongside that license in your manage account screens, allowing you to use one credit to renew the license. If you have no credits remaining, your institution must buy more before you can create or renew licenses.

I am a student and my license has expired. Can I renew it?

Yes. If your license was assigned to you, please contact your multi-license administrator and ask for it to be renewed. If you purchased your own license, you can renew it by returning to the Enroll page and buying a new license.

May I project course content for classroom teaching?

Yes. The purchase agreement allows screen shots to be displayed at non-profit making educational meetings. The images are protected by copyright, however, and may not be reproduced without permission. If in doubt please contact us.
